Safari Air Link is Foxes Safari Camps’ family-owned and -managed airline. Our fleet of five Cessna 208 Caravans, each of which accommodates up to 13 passengers, is renowned for our expert crew who have extensive experience flying to remote bush airstrips.
Our extensive network of routes connects major tourist hubs across Tanzania – such as Dar es Salaam with Zanzibar and Mafia Island – and also flies to Serengeti National Park. With Safari Air Link, you can travel between Tanzania’s southern, western and northern safari circuits, as well as the coastal circuit should you wish to stay at Lazy Lagoon Island Lodge – our island safari lodge along the Swahili Coast.
Safari Air Link also flies to far-flung regions that would otherwise require more time and effort to reach. This makes planning your tailor-made holiday across Southern Tanzania that much easier and more convenient, so you can spend more time on safari rather than travelling between safari lodges and tented camps across various national parks in Tanzania.

Safari Air Link’s fly-in safari routes
Safari Air Link pioneered Tanzania’s shared fly-in safari charter, allowing all travellers (not just Foxes Safari Camps’ guests) access to some of the country’s most remote destinations at an affordable cost. With the flexibility of dynamic scheduling with our private aircraft fleet, travellers can expect a hassle-free safari in Tanzania. Our route network provides daily scheduled flights for relaxed connections with in-bound and out-bound international airlines from Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam.

Tanzania’s southern and coastal safari circuit
With Safari Air Link’s scheduled daily flights between Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar and Mafia Island before heading onwards to Nyerere, Mikumi, and Ruaha national parks, it is possible to do a safari and beach holiday in Tanzania. Morning flights depart at 10:30 and head westbound, while afternoon flights depart at 13:15 travelling eastbound.
Tanzania’s north-south safari circuit
Safari Air Link flies between Serengeti National Park (in Tanzania’s northern safari circuit) and Ruaha National Park (in Tanzania’s southern safari circuit) three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays in both directions. Flights depart to the north (Serengeti) at 07:00 and to the south (Ruaha) at 10:00.
Tanzania’s western safari circuit
Safari Air Link specialises in fly-in safaris to the less-visited western safari circuit with scheduled flights operating between Ruaha, Katavi, and Mahale national parks twice a week. On Mondays, departure is from 07:00 heading west, and on Thursdays we take to the air at 10:30 going east. This western safari route may also make stops along the Swahili Coast, at Zanzibar and Mafia Island, as well as Mufindi Highland Lodge in the Southern Highlands.
