Carbon Sequestration
9,000 acres ~ forestry created
3,678,000 trees ~ planted to date
Foxes work hard to ensure that we give more than we take.
Throughout the camp and bush airline operations, we continually strive to reduce our carbon emissions and have done so with success.
In tandem with these efforts, over the last two decades, we have been planting trees on land otherwise baron.
On our last forestry audit, it was concluded that 3,678,000 trees had been planted over an area of 9,000 acres.
Some Perspective
Flights
Amsterdam - Dar es Salaam = 460kg carbon per passenger
Johannesburg - Dar es Salaam = 278kg carbon per passenger
Dubai - Dar es Salaam = 268kg carbon per passenger
We absorb up to 60,000,000kg carbon each year
